03/10: Dreamweaver 8 and Vista 64 bit FTP remote view error

Recently I had a problem pop up after doing a windows update (Vista 64 bit) with Dreamweaver 8 - anytime I would try and update a website, it wouldn't allow me to update the site, giving me a message saying that I didn't have permission. I would then try and look at the remote view and it wouldn't list the files either - it would only show the directory(folder) that I was currently in and not any of the contents.
After a few hours of trying to figure out what the problem is, including trying to do a re-install and also trying to do a system restore - I discovered it was a very, very simple fix (it usually is, isn't it?). If your having the same problem, all you need to do is open the site definition folder and make sure that under the remote info tab that the passive ftp box is checked. That's it, everything worked fine for me after changing this setting.
Hope it helps someone out there, caused me quite a bit of stress for a few hours.
